So true. It’s not considered abuse if the person is reacting to being abused. Abuse would be if he ever started it. But it seems like in all the occasions that we know, she starts it and he just reacts.

Idk about you, but if I reacted off of someone abusing me and someone told me “Well clearly you were abusive as well” I would lose my shift.

I do that shit, too. I try to laugh and make others laugh when I’m upset because I fucking hate tension and crying. Until I can’t speak anymore because I’m so close to breaking, I will make jokes and try to lighten the mood.

Also, sometimes when I’m sad, crying, even devastated, I stupidly smile or laugh and I’m not sure why. I’d hate it if somebody saw me and admonished me for doing something I literally cannot control and told me that I was being cold

Yeah I think anyone who still wants to support her is finding anything to use against him. Amber was also seen laughing in court and I don’t see them bringing that up.

And I cannot stand when people try to tell you how you SHOULD be acting in tough situations. My friend was sexually assaulted and she wanted to crack jokes about it, I let her and cracked some with her, but she had other friends who tried to tell her that she shouldn’t be laughing. If you are not the one going through or who went through a traumatic situation, don’t tell the one who did how they should be acting
